Hello! My name is Dawon (다원), and I was born in Suwon (수원), just south of Seoul. I now live in England with my British husband, where I share my passion for the Korean language and culture through private tutoring. My love for interacting with people naturally led me to start teaching Korean.

 

For me, these lessons are not only about language learning but also about creating meaningful opportunities to exchange cultural perspectives with my students. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Korean and English Linguistics, and once served as a student diplomat at a university in Korea.

 

With over three years of teaching experience—primarily with British students—I have had the privilege of working with learners of all ages, from young children to seniors. I offer personalised lessons tailored to individual goals, whether that’s learning Korean for travel, work, academic study, or simply personal interest.

 

Currently, I provide my tutoring services here in the UK, and I look forward to helping more students discover the beauty of the Korean language and culture.
